Welcome letter

The 8th French International Symposium on CAR T-cell therapy « CARTday» is taking place in Lille, France on October 17-18, 2024. This meeting aims to gather the most preeminent and emerging international leaders in the field of cellular immunotherapy. The meeting will focus on cellular immunotherapy and cover a range of topics, including natural basis of synthetic CAR-T immunotherapy, lessons learned from targeting B cell malignancies, challenges and road ahead, therapeutic use of cytokines in the context of CART therapy, nature killer cell-based immunotherapy, manufacturing CART cells and implementation of CAR T-cell therapy in an academic setting. In addition, the program will bring you all the latest reported data in CAR T-cell therapy.

This meeting is organized by the Lille University Hospital and Faculty of Medicine and this year, it has extended its collaboration network, to include a diversity of cooperative groups in France whose main focus is CAR T cells: the Francophone Society of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (SFGM-TC), The consortiUm NatIonal sur les Thérapies Cellulaires (UNITC), The Société Française de lutte contre les Cancers et les leucémies de l’Enfant et de l’adolescent (SFCE), The Group for Research on Adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (GRAALL), The Intergroupe Francophone du Myélome (IFM), The Société Française d’Immunologie (CFI), LE club d’Immunothérapie Cellulaire (CITC), The groupe Maladies Autoimmunes et THérapie Cellulaire (MATHEC), The LYmphoma Study Association (Lysa) and the Worldwide Network for Blood & Marrow Transplantation (WBMT). Like the last years, we expect getting-together a large number of participants during these two days of intense and hopefully highly productive exchanges. The meeting is designed to provide an excellent platform for networking between clinicians, scientists, and other stakeholders in the field.

The target audience is all individual envolved in the CAR T-cell therapy including hematologists, oncologists, physicians, pharmacists, scientists, nurses, data managers and supply chain managers.
